Inspired by the book “Self” by philosopher Barry Dainton, Natasha Taylor created a radiodrama around an existential WiFi repeater and the individuals who connect to it. Dictionaries define the virtual as that which is in essence but not actually so. Real without being actual tangible.
On a daily basis, we traverse through various spaces and contexts, shaping our identities within them. However, something peculiar occurs to the mind and body when we immerse ourselves in a virtual realm. There’s a subtle shift in tangibility, where the mind and flesh navigate differently.
